Robert Torrae aka White ICE
Robert plays the lead guitar! Robert Torrae aka White Ice is born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I am a writer, musician, performer, and producer. I pride myself as being a disciplined consummate professional ready to take my musical acumen to the next level.
I started my musical journey as a young kid on the Chicago - Southside by attending “Martin Music School Of Music” for guitar. As a teenager, I sang and played in the local church choirs. From there I attended Nicholas Senn High where I played in the concert band as a second chair trumpeter. I also played in the color guard marching band as a bass drummer.
Along the way I’ve self taught as a bass guitarist, drummer, and keyboardist. As a young adult I’ve recorded/played with many local area talents and bands in the genre of reggae, rock, blues, R&B, gospel, hip-hop, and soul. After various stints in Queens, NY., and DC, I’ve also performed with local bands/talents there as well.
With some 30+ years of music experience, some of my current goals are to seek a lucrative deal in both publishing as well as [possible] touring. My motto is “….Im stirred and chilled, never shaken!”
